Organic polenta is made by coarsely stone-milling the yellow corn (maize) kernel into a gritty-textured meal, then sifting out the bran and the flour. Polenta is very quick to cook and is naturally gluten-free. It was originally a peasant food, valued because of its nourishing content. Now it has been given a new lease of life with rich toppings such as mushroom sauces as well as the addition of vegetables, beans and cheeses into the mixture.
Organic farming uses the best of traditional agriculture and responsiveness to the land to create biodiversity and environmental balance; a sustainable approach free from artificial intervention.
This product is gluten free certified. The procedures are as follows:
a. Our Organics pack all gluten free products in a separate area to any gluten containing products.
b. All utensils are colour coded and cleaned separately.
c. They also pack gluten free products on specific days.
d. They are SQF & Haccp certified for food safety.
All these are preventive measures for any cross contamination

The Gluten Free Co. was created by Geoff & Annabel Lewis, who started in the food industry 26 years ago when they decided to sell an organic bread that was being produced in Sydney. The Gluten Free Co. brand is now found all over Australia and also throughout Asia and the Middle East.
