The Wholefood Collective’s Terms of Service
Welcome to The Wholefood Collective! (a.k.a. “TWC” or “we” or “us” or “the Company”). We are excited to have you as a community member. The following terms and conditions (collectively, these “Terms of Service”) apply to your use of www.thewholefoodcollective.com.au, including any functionality, services, promotions and competitions offered on or via
www.thewholefoodcollective.com.au (the “Website”). The Terms of Service also include our Privacy Policy, that you can review here: Privacy Policy.
Pricing
The Wholefood Collective is passionate about providing premium products at affordable prices. Prices can and do change regularly. Our website will be updated as price changes are received from our suppliers. All of our prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and prices are inclusive or Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable. We derive our RRPs from taking a high, medium, and low price on the same product (weights are sometimes aggregated), found elsewhere online. We then average them, and set our RRP from that. This way, the savings advertised are actual, higher savings and not just savings worked off what the supplier ‘says’ they should be sold at.
Memberships
Annual memberships attract a joining fee. This fee is subject to change. This fee allows TWC to be sustainable and continue to provide affordable premium wholefood. Without it, we’d close tomorrow. The membership is by subscription. By purchasing a membership you agree to have the annual fee deducted from your chosen payment option on the 12 month anniversary of the initial membership purchase. If you don’t want this to happen, you can go to My Account>Subscriptions and make the ‘end date’ of your subscription the day before the next payment is due to be processed. Obviously, this means your membership will expire on that day and you will no longer have access to TWC’s sweet savings.
Emails are sent prior to the auto renewal every year, providing you opportunity to cancel your membership without fee or penalty, if you wish to stop saving hundreds. Cancellation is simply by logging in to your account and clicking cancel.
Secure payment
The Wholefood Collective currently offers one way to pay for your order – credit card. This payment option uses advanced SSL encryption to keep your transaction secure and do not cost you anything to use (The Wholefood Collective is charged as the seller, you are not charged as the buyer), so you will not pay any extra for your order. You do not need to hold an account with these Merchants to use these methods of payments. Please refer to the payment gateway for full terms and conditions of use. PayPal will be added as a payment method shortly. We cannot view your credit cards details.

Allergen Alert
We place emphasis on selecting suppliers who understand the importance of, and have systems in place for the segregation of types of food, and have adequate hygiene and cleaning procedures, to prevent accidental cross-contamination. However, these things are beyond our control as much as we try to minimise them. As such, the food sold on our website may have been packed in a facility that contains allergens, traces of allergens or bi-products of the following: peanuts, nuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds, seeds, soybeans and soy products, egg, pollen and bee products, preservatives, gluten and cereals containing gluten, wheat, rye, barley oats, spelt, dairy, fish, crustacea, and other products that may behave as allergens to certain people.
No allergen or nutritional information on our website should ever be considered a guarantee, but simply a best faith effort to serve our customers.
Out of stock items
We clearly label the products we know are out of stock, and update them frequently.
We have methods in place to greatly reduce the risk of you ordering a product, and later finding it’s out of stock. From time to time however, our supplier may sell out of a particular product quite suddenly. If a product you have ordered is out of stock, we will refund you for both the product and any difference in shipping. Easy.
Right of Return / Refund Policy
We strive to ensure all our group members are 100% satisfied with our products and service so please let us know within 48 hours of receiving your order if you have received a damaged product.
A photo must be provided for damaged items. We may request the item be returned before a refund or replacement is issued on certain items, and it some cases the cost of freight of returning the item will be the customers responsibility.
We allow you 7 days to return a product that you are not satisfied with. Your right of return starts from the day you receive delivery of your order. We request that you send us the merchandise by registered post and that you purchase insurance with your carrier for the value of the merchandise. This is necessary should they lose or damage the goods. Shipping fees remain the customer’s responsibility. The present right of return only applies to products that are returned in their original, complete condition. Any product that has been damaged, is not in its original packaging, has packaging that has been worn beyond simply opening the product, or has been consumed beyond what is deemed reasonable by us, will not be refunded.
If the product is returned within 7 days of its delivery, the User will be reimbursed via the same payment method as was used initially.
